Losing Religion.
when Americans wake up in the morning, religion is not at the top of the list of things to think about. That's according to a recent poll. And as Press TV's Colin Campbell reports, it may be that Americans are changing their priorities.

The Earth's Axis Has Shifted.
This has created severe changes in our global weather, seismic & volcanic activity.
And it will get much worse.
An axial shift is a difficult concept for most people to wrap their minds around. One too many disaster movies and most people, including a lot of scientists, believe such a dramatic shift in the angle of the tilt would be accompanied by Global destruction and disasters. world scientists have estimated total polar meltdown by 2020. This date also coincides with the US Gov't estimate that there will be a global water shortage in 2020.

Since a full meltdown will raise sea levels by 297 ft (20 stories), a lot of water tables and water sources will be contaminated. Not only by sea water, but by the contamination which will mix with the water as it covers the cities, factories and chemical plants. So, it is interesting that both have fixated on the same year.
Some scientists believe the meltdown could occur 5 years sooner. From what I have seen of the current condition of the polar regions and the rate of melting, I believe we could see a total meltdown by 2013. The first week of July 2008, CNN reported that world scientists expected a complete melting of the arctic by Sept 2008. Right now, the gov't is limiting access to current satellite imagery of the polar regions. Most of the images are dated 1999 and earlier. For those images later than 1999, they have all been censored or modified to block the view. Why would the images be kept from the public... unless there is something they don't want you to see.
Unfortunately, most people will be in denial until the water starts lapping at their doorstep... and then they will all cry for someone else to do something about it. People are their own worst enemies. They refuse to listen to scientific data, attack anyone who does not share their opinion and then they want everyone else to fix their problems that they had refused to acknowledge.

And when they get desperate, these will be the people who will prey on and victimize those who planned ahead. It would seem to me that everyone should start planning ahead to take care of their own needs and stop attacking those people who are trying to help them understand what is happening to our planet. After looking at the Global weather disasters, you will wonder why you never heard about most of these on the news. But it will become clear that the public has not been told about a lot of things.
Take a look at the weather patterns and see if it does not substantiate a significant change in weather conditions has been taking place which supports the axis shift scenario. An increase in the axial tilt would cause hotter than normal summers and colder than normal winters. (heat waves in the NE and NW US).
Accelerated melting of polar ice caps would cause higher humidity and increased levels of precipitation: heavy rains, floods, larger hail, increased snow, blizzards and increased fog.

South Sudan has become the world’s newest nation, the climax of a process made possible by the 2005 peace deal that ended a long and bloody civil war.
Sudan’s President Omar al-Bashir and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon are among international dignitaries attending celebrations in the capital, Juba.

Sudan earlier became the first state to officially recognise its new neighbour.
The South’s independence follows decades of conflict with the north in which some 1.5 million people died.

Celebrations in Juba began at midnight (2100 GMT). A countdown clock in the city centre reached zero and the new national anthem was played on television.
South Sudan became the 193rd country recognised by the UN and the 54th UN member state in Africa.
 
The independence of their nation was foretold in the Bible more than 2,000 years ago.

The eyes of the world are now on southern Sudan, Paleak said.
Isaiah 18 concludes with a passage Paleak said predicts the end of rule by the Muslim north.
"'They will bring their gifts to the mountain of Zion,' which means we will be free to praise God in our own way in our own land."

He sees the suffering of the south Sudanese during the civil war that left 2 million dead and the displacement of the many who fled the war as part of a divine plan described.
"It says God will send enemies to chastise us so we can repent of our sins and come back to God," he said. "So that's why all this is happening."

Deng said the war was responsible for his own salvation.
"When I was a teenager, because of the war, I came to the northern part of Sudan. That's when I met the Lord and got saved. If not for the war ... I would have died in paganism."
For Pastor Martin Drani, of the interdenominational Sudanese Community Church in Nashville, there is no doubt that God is the true force behind the referendum.

"This is a prophecy, and if you believe the Bible then every prophecy must come to pass," Drani said.
"The Israelites, there also was a prophecy about them and it was fulfilled."
Isaiah 18 contains an interesting prophecy that the present day people of South Sudan, and many bible prophecy experts feel has just been fulfilled.

The prophecy tells of a future pruning of a nation divided by rivers. The Prophecy names this nation as Cush, Cush was comprised of the present day nations of Ethiopia and Sudan, with the Nile river running right through the middle. (In fact the Nile river branches into the White Nile and Blue Nile in present day Sudan).The prophecy indicates that a new banner will be raised after a major pruning and then gifts will be brought from this new land to the land of Zion, (Israel).

Well coincidentally, (or not), Sudan has now split in two, (pruned), with a mostly Muslim north and a Christian South. A new national flag, (banner), will be raised in South Sudan who will be recognized by Israel in short order as an independent nation. One suspects South Sudan will quickly become a close friend and ally of Israel.

This is an absolutely amazing fulfillment of bible prophecy and yet again shows that we are indeed living in the last part of the last days.

All you people of the world, you who live on the earth, when a banner is raised on the mountains, you will see it, and when a trumpet sounds, you will hear it. Isaiah 18:3 NIV

Reports of red rain incidences Worldwide. The red rain Phenomenon was a blood rain (red rain) event that occurred from July 25 to September 23, 2001,. Heavy downpours occurred in which the rain colored red, and several times since then. It was not until early 2006 that the red rains gained widespread attention when the media reported. And then we had reports of water turning blood red all over the world. But this one in the City of Varna is the first report for this year 2011.

Boaters awakend to find a carpet of small silvery fish surrounding their vessels, said Staci Gabrielli, marine coordinator for King Harbor Marina on the Los Angeles County coast. Authorities said there was also a layer of up to 1.5 feet (0.46metres) of dead fish on the bottom of the marina.

March 14, 2011 - The Shinmoedake volcano on Japan’s Kyushu Island had erupted after lying inactive for couple of weeks. It was not clear that the eruption was linked to the recent massive earthquake in the northern part of Japan. A volcano in southern Japan began spewing ash and rock all over the region before recovering from the massive catastrophic earthquake and tsunami- a report from Japanese weather agency. This eruption was the biggest volcanic activity in Shinmoedake in 52 years, caused huge destruction and panic. The blast could be heard for miles and shattered windows four miles away, the BBC reported. Many people fled the area as the volcano spewed dust, including hot ash and rocks, more than 6, 000 feet in the air- according to the BBC reports.

March 18, 2011- Dallas, Texas is being taken over by feral hoge, which run in packs, can weigh up to 375 pounds, and somtimes have tusks. Texas Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples told the AP. They're in Dallas suburbs. They are uprooting lawns and overturning playground equipment. They're always out there in the darkness waiting. The officials have been stumped about how to stop them from spreading into cities. there was a pig birth-control pill, which failed.

April 7, 2011 - Japan –Powerful aftershock 7.1 Magnitude earthquake hit the East Coast of Honshu Japan.
A major earthquake has shaken the northeast of Japan - prompting a tsunami warning for the coast devastated by last month's earthquake.
The warning issued after the 7.1 magnitude quake was subsequently lifted cancelled by the Japanese meterological agency.
No further damage was detected at the crippled Fukushima plant and workers were apparently evacuated without any injuries.
There were no immediate reports of damage elsewhere, although people in areas covered by the tsunami were urged to move to higher ground.
US Geological Survey said the aftershock struck 40 miles (66 km) east of the coastal city Sendai, at a shallow depth of 15.9 miles (25.6 km).
In the capital, Tokyo, buildings shook.
NHK public television cited police as saying seven people had been injured, two of them seriously.
The broadcaster also showed power was off in parts of Sendai, a regional commercial hub badly shaken last month's double disaster.
It comes as the country struggles to bring the Fukushima 1 plant under control after the quake and tsunami on March 11.
The disaster killed, or left missing, about 28,000 people.
Workers at the Fukushima plant have began pumping nitrogen, an inert gas, into a stricken reactor, with engineers concerned a build-up of hydrogen may cause an exploion.
The site suffered a series of blasts last month, with radiation leaks prompting widespread evacuation of residents in the surrounding area.

Most calls hinge on neighbors irritation with ear-piercing squawks, and attacks on pets and children. for 30 years I lived here and never seen such a proliferation of wild chickens.

Jones argued it is cheaper to use drones, and even blimps for surveillance, than traditional satellites. He claimed that for years homeland security has tethered blimps above major cities, out of eyesight, to watch and monitor city populations.
“This is a Terminator style Skynet, but it’s not the machines running it,” he said. “For now it is humans piloting them like it is a video game.”
“It’s the global government.” he added.
The system is a surveillance control grid owned by major banks and companies who work with government as part of a global government system to monitor the people.

June 10, 2011- The authorities are trying to truck a pack of dogs that has killed about 100 animals in night time forays in North Eastern Washington State. Attacks that have claimed goats, a llama and other farm animals and raised alarm that people could be targeted. Authorities are warning residents to take whatever steps are necessary to protect their families and animaks because the dogs appear to be killing for fun rather than food.

It's unusual for a cow to become aggressive, said Terry Engelken, an associate professor at lowa state University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Based on radar data, it is estimated that this dust storm reached a peak height of at least 5000 to 6000 ft (1500 to 1800 m). The aerial coverage was very expansive, with the leading edge stretching for almost 100 mi (160 km). The distance traveled was at least 150 mi (240 km).

Julie Bambrick said an unusually aggressive pretty-faced wallaby – dubbed Wacker by the family – had terrorized her 11-year-old grandson Reece, bowled over her husband Virgil and bit him on the face, and hissed, snarled and scratched at her whenever she ventured into her garden. She said the family had been attacked while putting the rubbish out, going to the car and even just stepping out the front door. “I’m scared to go outside,” Ms Bambrick said. “I won’t go out into the garden because I’m terrified this crazy wallaby is going to come and have another go. The kids won’t go out and play because they’re too frightened.” Ms Bambrick, who has lived in the area for nine years, said Wacker first attacked. Reece in March and now seemed to keep a constant watch on her Edward Place home. “It just sits outside the house and eye-balls us,” she said. “It’s a big one up to my chest in height and we’re all terrified of it. Muammar Gaddafi, has been killed following the capture of his hometown of Sirte.
There were confusing reports of Gaddafi's capture and death, and questions remained over exactly how he was killed.
Arab broadcasters showed graphic images of the balding, goateed Gaddafi – wounded, with a bloodied face and shirt – but alive. Later video showed fighters rolling Gaddafi's lifeless body over on the pavement, stripped to the waist and a pool of blood under his head.
While he was still alive, the fighters drove him around lying on the hood of a truck, perhaps to parade him in public. One fighter held him down, pressing on his thigh with a pair of shoes in a show of contempt.
Standing upright, he is shoved along a Sirte road by fighters who chanted
"God is great."
Gaddafi appears to struggle against them, stumbling and shouting as the fighters push him onto the hood of a pickup truck.
"We want him alive. We want him alive," one man shouted before Gaddafi is dragged away, some fighters pulling his hair, toward an ambulance.
Most accounts agreed Gaddafi had been holed up with heavily armed supporters in the last few buildings held by regime loyalists in the Mediterranean coastal town, furiously battling revolutionary fighters. The battle for Sirte has been raging for more than a month.
At one point, a convoy tried to flee and was hit by NATO airstrikes, carried out by French warplanes. France's Defense Minister Gerard Longuet said the 80-vehicle convoy was carrying Gaddafi and was trying to escape the city. The strikes stopped the convoy but did not destroy it, and then revolutionary fighters moved in on the vehicle carrying Gaddafi.
One fighter who said he was at the battle told AP Television News that the final fight took place at an opulent compound. Adel Busamir said the convoy tried to break out but after being hit, it turned back and re-entered the compound. Several hundred fighters attacked.
"We found him there," Busamir said of Gaddafi. "We saw them beating him (Gaddafi) and someone shot him with a 9mm pistol ... then they took him away."
Military spokesman Col. Ahmed Bani in Tripoli told Al-Jazeera TV that a wounded Gaddafi "tried to resist (revolutionary forces) so they took him down."
Fathi Bashaga, spokesman for the Misrata military council, whose forces were involved in the battle, said fighters encircled the convoy and exchanged fire. In one vehicle, they found Gaddafi, wounded in the neck, and took him to an ambulance. "What do you want?" Gaddafi asked the approaching revolutionaries, Bashaga said, citing witnesses.
Gaddafi bled to death from his wounds a half-hour later, he said. Fighters said he died in the ambulance en route to Misrata, 120 miles from Sirte.
Abdel-Jalil Abdel-Aziz, a doctor who accompanied the body in the ambulance and examined it, said Gaddafi died from two bullet wounds – to the head and chest.
"You can't imagine my happiness today. I can't describe my happiness," he told The Associated Press. "The tyranny is gone. Now the Libyan people can rest."
In the United States, President Obama addressed the death of Gaddafi in a press conference. "The Transitional National Council informed the United States of Gaddafi's death shortly before Prime Minister Mahmoud Jibril's announcement to his nation that the moment so many had waited for had come, a U.S. official said. The White House and State Department were expected to release official responses later Thursday," Obama said, according to the Associated Press. "You have won your revolution," he continued, "One of the world's longest-serving dictators is no more."
In Tripoli, celebrations are already underway with gunfire and honking. "We've heard quite a lot of celebratory gunfire," Caroline Hawley reports for the BBC.
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton visited Libya on Tuesday to offer a new aid package. She told students during a gathering in Tripoli, "We hope [Gaddafi] can be captured or killed soon so that you don't have to fear him any longer."
Gaddafi was ousted from power in August, and his whereabouts have been unknown for months. The Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands, accused Libya's former ruler of crimes against humanity.
Reuters is also reporting that an official from the National Transitional Council, Libya's interim government, has confirmed the death of Abu Bakr Yunis Jabr, Gaddafi's Minister of Defense.

Moammar Gadhafi, the man who ruled Libya for 42 years, was seen on Arab television pinned against a car, being struck on the head with a pistol while a group of fighters manhandled him.
Video footage showed Gadhafi, dazed and bloodied but still clearly alive and gesturing with his hands as he was dragged from a truck by jostling government soldiers who hit him and pulled his hair.
He then appeared to fall to the ground and was enveloped by the crowd. NTC officials later announced Gadhafi had died of his wounds after capture.
One of Gadhafi's sons, Muatassim, also was killed and had been hiding with his father, Libya's interim government information minister told Reuters. The fate of his other son, Seif al-Islam, as well as other top figures of his regime remained unknown.
Al Jazeera TV broadcast the images of Gadhafi on Thursday, hours after the embattled leader was killed during an invasion by revolutionary forces in his hometown, Sirte, the last major bastion of resistance.
The pictures, which come two months after Gadhafi's ouster in a bloody civil war, were first aired by a Libyan television channel, Al Jazeera said.
The 69-year-old Gadhafi is the first leader to be killed in the Arab Spring wave of popular uprisings that swept the Middle East, demanding the end of autocratic rulers and the establishment of greater democracy
Prime Minister Mahmoud Jibril confirmed Gadhafi had been killed. "We have been waiting for this moment for a long time. Moammar Gadhafi has been killed," Jibril told a news conference in the capital Tripoli.

A new IAEA report is expected to show that the country of Iran is investing in nuclear activity and it has America and its allies running scared. Is it a legitimate threat or is the US fishing for reasons to invade?
Former Reagan administration official Paul Craig Roberts tells RT that a war with Iran seems more than likely. “I think that’s indicated by the fake plot that Obama announced; that Iran wanted to hire a used car salesman and a Mexican drug gang to kill the Saudi Arabian ambassador,” said Roberts. Even if President Obama billed himself as a healthy change from the ways of the previous administration, Roberts called the current commander-in-chief a bigger war monger than the Bush/Cheney office.
Jamal Abdi of the National Iranian American Council also feels like the United States’ current actions seem suspicious. He says a real threat of military action doesn’t seem great, however, but does feel like America is looking to worsen tensions between the two countries.
In the latest IAEA report, says Abdi, he doesn’t expect to find much new information. What is inside, he adds, is wording that will push to get Security Council sanctions against Iran. “Really this is a lot of change in tone to increase the pressure,” he says.
Abdi adds that just yesterday a bill went forward in the House of Representatives that would make it illegal for the president or any American official to even make contact with Iranian government personnel without getting congressional approval more than two weeks ahead of time. “This is sort of unprecedented,” he says.
Even if moves like that will increase tensions between the countries, Abdi still feels like war can be avoided. It’s going to take President Obama to make some serious moves to keep what Paul Craig Roberts says is “most likely,” however. What America is doing right now, adds Abdi, is building a wall between the two countries, “sort of one legislative brick at a time.”
Should that bill become a law, Abdi says that there is no chance for diplomatic relations between the countries. It will be sanctions or war and nothing else.

Police have counted 2,000 demonstrators, but unofficial estimates say up to 10,000 people made their way to Chistye Prudy Park to attend a meeting staged by the opposition movement “Solidarnost” (Solidarity).
"Shame!” chanted the crowd. The demonstrators claimed the United Russia party had rigged the voting results. Meanwhile, as the Central Election Commission has almost done its counting, United Russia is coming in with almost 50 per cent of the vote.
Police had already cordoned the area off for a meeting, which only 700 people had been authorized to join. As the stream of people increased, the designated area overflowed and the crowds spilled into a neighboring area. When they started to block the traffic, police began arresting protesters.

The angry crowd tried to march to the city center, but their passage was blocked by police. Some young men started throwing stones at cars parked near the pavement. In the meantime, the crowd parted with many leaving the rally altogether, while others managed to break through the police cordon into the city center.
But as the demonstrators moved deeper into the city, they were met with a heavy police presence intent on preventing the spontaneous march.

­This is the biggest rally so far in the wake of the parliamentary elections. Central St. Petersburg hosted another meeting where, according to Interfax news agency, several smoke grenades were set off and more arrests were made.

 FOX, lies & the wrong videotape: What’s NOT happening in Moscow.

With so much going on in the world today, one can see how easy it would be to get confused. Are those pictures of the war in Iraq or Afghanistan? Poverty in Somalia or Congo? And what’s a news program to do if there aren’t any good pictures?
So producers all over the world search, and talk to their own crews or news agencies who provide feeds for everyone, and find the best shots to grace their air time.
Or – in some cases – ANY shots that look more or less similar to the covered topic. Case in point: protests in Russia and the ever-blundering FOX News.
Yes, there are mass protests in Russia. Have been, since election day on Sunday. Thousands have been gathering to speak their mind and protest the election results. Yes, hundreds have been arrested. For two days in a row, and for various violations. Yes, there are reports of police brutality and no; right now it’s not possible to say whether they are true. It really does depend on the cops – much as it does anywhere else in the world. In New York, for example, some police officers will look the other way when you are filming somewhere you technically shouldn’t be; and others will detain you outside the United Nations building for no reason and refuse you your rights (and yes, all this did happen). Cops in Moscow are the same – some are nicer than others, while some appear to be almost looking for a fight.

Regardless of all this – yes, there are protests. But this, my friends, is NOT them.

Now, even though FOX news has kindly told us that this is, in fact, Moscow – as a Muscovite, one glance is enough to tell me it's NOT. First of all, the phone box – ours are a greyish-blue, and are few and between. In fact, I can’t even remember the last time I saw a public phone box, let alone anyone using it.
Secondly, the people in the background – the young couple pressed against the building? They’re dressed in jeans and long-sleeved tees.
It’s December. In RUSSIA. No one in their right mind would go to a rally (where most of the time, a lot of standing around is involved) in a tee shirt. People here wear thermals, ski jackets, hats and gloves – the works. Stereotypes are based on fact, you know – and Moscow is very cold in December.
But even if all of this isn’t enough to convince you – and believe me, I do not want you to just take my word for it, here is my final argument.

You may say "Hey, that looks Greek to me” – and you know what, you’ll be spot on. Greek it is – literally. And that sign? Says “National Bank of Greece” in those big, pretty, gold letters. FOX, it appears, isn’t satisfied with the REAL Russian rallies. They wanted a BANG! But there were no bangs, so I figure they thought “hey, it’s police running after people and fires and chaos – who on earth will be able to tell the difference?!” So they took videos from Athens, put a ‘’Russia” comment on screen – and voila, stick a fork in ‘em, they’re done.
How unfortunate that their broadcasts can be seen by pretty much anyone, anywhere.
I don’t harbor any hopes that the FOX people will see this and suddenly change their “errant ways”. But for the viewers – there are no palm trees in the streets of Moscow, the Prime Minister is spelled ‘PuTin’, not ‘PuTTin’ and the plural for ‘protester’ is ‘protesterS’. For future references.

 NDAA Indefinite Detention Bill Passed by Obama.

December 17, 2011 - The US Congress voted to pass the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012. The 86 to 13 vote will allow the indefinite detention and torture of American citizens at home and abroad without a trial. The NDAA gives more power to the military and government and President Obama at one point said would veto the bill but he has changed his mind. Obama signed the NDAA bill on the 200 th birthday of the bill of rights.

Israeli police disperse ultra -Orthodox Jewish protesters near al-Quds (Jerusalem).


More than 10,000 people are set to participate in a large protest after ultra-Orthodox Jews clashed with Israeli police near East al-Quds (Jerusalem).
People are expected to protest the exclusion of women as well as violence against girls and women.
The clashes erupted in Beit Shemesh after religious Jewish people called for the segregation of men and women.
Beit Shemesh has become a focus of friction between secular and ultra-Orthodox Jews demanding strict gender segregation and modest dress for women.
An Israeli officer was injured in the clashes and several protesters were consequently arrested.
The latest clashes came as police attempted to remove one of the several signs in the town ordering gender segregation.
In reaction, at least 300 of the religious residents pelted police with stones and eggs and set rubbish bins on fire. Although only 10 percent of Israel's mostly Jewish population consists of religious Jews, their population is rapidly growing.

As Eurozone nations sink ever deeper into crisis, the UK Treasury is working on a contingency plan for the single currency's collapse. It includes capital control measures that, under EU rules, require agreement from most of the Union members. Britain is also prepared to close its borders and evacuate expats and holidaymakers from the effected countries. Robert Oulds, president of the Bruge Groups of campaigners against excess unification in Europe says many countries will benefit if euro collapses.

The last of their constitution layers of protection are being stripped away.
It's amazing what the stroke of a pen can do to the future of American citizens.

December 29, 2012- U.S.A.- signed NDAA S.1867 into law-not good. Despite including reservations that President Obama supposedly had about approving NDAA S.1867 he passed it anyway. Does this mark the end of the Bill Of Rights that you and I as American citizens should have been able to rely upon? Does this signify a prelude to the deployment of occupational forces in the form of the US Army or foreign mercenaries under the command of US Army authority within the zone interior of the US? These are questions that need to be asked and must be answered. Unfortunately, those answers can only come from how this legislation is implememented in the future.

We can only determine how such a potentially oppressive bill enactment can be by the past administration of such far reaching actions by either the US or other foreign nations, or should I say, dictatorships. The prospects honestly do not look encouraging.
But first, let me go back to President Obama, who by all accounts was ready to sign the predecessor of this bill which was S.1253 which did contain such language that would have included US citizens as being among those who could be detained indefinitely along with terrorists, illegal aliens, and noncitizen residents. According to some sources it was after the ammendment of S.1253 into being redrafted into S.1867 which included provisons 1031 and 1032 stating that US citizens would not be subject to indefinite detainment and all laws preceding the enactment of the new measure would remain unchanged just as they were before. Why then did President Obama threaten to veto the new incarnation of S.1253 that was now S.1867 if American citizens were now exempted from indefinite Army detainment? You must not listen to the words of this president but look instead at his actions which will define who he really is and on which side of the issue he really stands! Obama has absolutely no reservations about decieving the people as long as he achieves his agenda.
The fact that President Obama threatened to veto this legislation was completely inconsistent with all the other oppressive legislation that he's approved or supported in the last 3 years. I must admit that I was not in the least surprised that the President did indeed sign this bill into law. The fact that he voiced doubts about it is totally irrelevant because he passed it anyway. The fact that Obama did sign it into law and noted his problems regarding it only typifies his insidious intentions while not wanting to take personal responsibility for his actions. This was simply a political move on his part to ease the condemnation that he will suffer and falsely reassure those that may still want to vote for him in 2012 that he's really not such a bad guy.
What lies in the importance of S.1867 is in the manner that it will now be interpreted by future administrations and standing US Armies. The draconian potential for this bill is absolutely staggering. If we can't trust the government to administer the law as it should Constitutionally be applied then we should not allow the government the tools to enslave us through ambiguous legislation, and that is just what this is all about. When there are vague allusions to just who is considered to be what a bonafide enemy of the state really is, the term "terrorist", could be used to define a very wide swatch of those in our society who don't approve of what the federal government is up to, and we have that right! In the future either immediately or in the years to come, the manner in which a particular administration wants to act will be contingent upon when and under what circumstances they want to use that big stick, and it can be used as a very big suppressor of political opposition. In Russia through out history many public uprisings have been brutally crushed by the iron fist of the Soviet Army. During the 1956 Hungary revolution when Soviet tanks rumbled down the streets and machine gunned any resistance as the peasants tossed rocks and Molotov cocktails the question of military law and order became a savage reality. How did they achieve such a bloody victory? By using troops from other provinces such as Bulgaria and Romania, the Russians were able to avert the refusal of local troops of Hungary to punish the Hungarian citizenry.
Just as in 1968 when Czechoslovakia rebelled against Soviet oppression yet simply asked that they democratize the hardline policies while still remaining within the Warsaw Pact, negotiataions lasted only days until high officials of the USSR Politburo determined no deal! Once again foreign troops from neighboring and far away Soviet satellite countries came to occupy the Czechs and vanquish any hopes they had of moderating the harsh rule of Communism. S.1867 could easily be misused under the same premise. All ready there are calls for hiring foreign troops of other nations to make up for the void being felt in the US armed forces as we are presently in a peacetime voluntary recruitment policy that does not make enlistment mandatory as it was in Vietnam. There are plans to recruit soldiers from UN nations to serve in the United States Army. Now ask yourself whether or not foreign troops would have any compunction over marching against US citizens if they were ordered to? They answer would be just as it was in Hungary in 1956 and in Czechoslovakia in 1968. This is but one of many scenarios in which S.1867 could be used in an all together different way than it was supposedly intended.
Not to put rats in your skulls, but can you imagine what Machiavellian event could be orchestrated by the government to give it the "Reichstag Moment" it needed to justify martial law. Does not S.1867 open the door for this horrid possibility? Everything is now in place for such a situation to be realized. Let's go one agonizing step further. Suppose a certain president facing a certain landslide loss at the voting polls was to create a nationwide emergency, a dastardly act of terrorism, or a civil uprising that the law had now been changed to accomodate? S. 1867 would be that very bill, all they needed to deliver the nation into a perpetual state of martial law that would, no doubt, trump a presidential election. The dictatorship would be in place! Just remember that the War Powers Act, another example, was never intended to be used in circumstances other than under a national emergency in which Congress did not have time to assemble and the President of the United States was literally forced to act on a war time footing. Yet, in every year since its inception, every US president has elected to once again keep the War Powers Act in force so that no Congressional approval is needed. Was America ever intended to be in a perpetual war time footing with the Commander in Chief poised in that direction at any given moment? No. Congress was supposed to grant that power to the president!
S. 1867 allows not only the president but the Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense to declare a status that legitimizes the domestic deployment of the US Army. Do the math, Connect the dots. The deed is done, and once again we have been lulled into trusting the words of those who can alter policy at any time, amend a given act to shape policy to their liking, and ultimately declare a state of emergency that justifies a grotesque tranformation of a free country into a fascist dictatorship under the illusion of a temporary state of emergency! The President actually does not even have the Constitutional authority to dismantle our Bill of Rights, but we are allowing him to do so!
In my opinion, there were already sufficient laws and enactments in place to allow for the proper defense of our nation against domestic attack. Does our government presently even bother to address the question of our open borders? No. If the federal government can't live up to its responsibility to protect our borders, than how can we trust them to honor NDAA S.1867 without botching that promise to American citizens as well?

December 31, 2011 - The U.S. used to be the country people went to, to flee this kind of thing. Now, it's leading the charge to make these things GLOBAL. No holds barred for secret arrest in the middle of the night, indefinite detention without charges, torture, eventual execution. In outsourced, de facto concentration camps, somewhere around the globe, from Alaska to Eastern Europe, the Ivory Coast or Thailand. This is not just tyranny, or the wild expression of an oligarchy's power. More than that, this is the crude abandoning and forfeiting of nearly 1000 years of unending strife to grant the individual some legal protection from the empowered bully. What people call the "new world system", the "new age", and things of this sort is in essence a return to medievalism, where the feudal baron claims to have the right to murder, rape, steal, and do whatever else he pleases, to the peasant down below.
The U.S. used to be the fullest legal expression of the ages old battle against this type of obscurantism; for the right of the individual human family to be left alone. Now, it's deconstructing it, along with everything else. All the while, the public are distracted and entertained into what will eventually be utter, lower than feudal, servitude.
This doesn't have to go any further: wise up, get active and on the right track with God, and join the fight for liberty in our time.
